Captain Rob

My name is Capt Rob, and I was raised here on the Emerald Coast. Since 1995, I've been deeply involved with the local boating community, developing a wealth of experience and knowledge about the waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf Coast.

I'm a prior service member of the US Coast Guard and hold a USCG-issued captain's license, which has allowed me to pursue my passion for boating and share my knowledge with others.

For the last five years, I've served as a manager for Freedom Boat Club, where I've gained valuable experience on the water and helped countless individuals and families enjoy all that boating has to offer.

Looking back on my life so far, I'm proud of the work I've done to promote safe and responsible boating practices, and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to share my love of the water with others.

Captain Lex

My name is Capt Lex, and I was raised in Fort Walton Beach, FL. As a child, I spent most of my free time on the water, sailing and fishing along the beautiful emerald coast. At 21, I enlisted in the Army as a helicopter mechanic and eventually became an Apache pilot.

Serving my country was an honor, but it was also one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. During my time in the Army, I learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. These skills have served me well in both my personal and professional life. After my military service, I returned to Fort Walton Beach. I continue to pursue my passion for sailing and fishing and began a successful career in the boating industry.

Looking back on my life so far, I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and the people who have supported me along the way. I'm proud to have served my country and to have built a life in the community where I grew up.
